The Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) members in Agusan del Norte voluntarily surrendered as they wanted to live a normal life with their loved ones and not have to worry about their safety.

The subjects identified as Mico Asoy Butillia a.k.a. IAN and Aira Sagay Carlos a.k.a. TANYA surrendered themselves during the joint operation of 15^th Special Action Company (15SAC), 1^st Special Action Battalion and Remedios T. Romualdez Municipal Police Station on May 18, 2023 at Purok 5, Tagbongabong, Remedios T. Romualdez, Agusan del Norte.

15SAC took temporary custody of the subject personalities for documentation and conduct of custodial debriefing.

Further, said surrendered personalities will benefit to the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program of the government.
