Ayala Launches its 2nd Health and Wellness Caravan to Special Action Force

Headquarters SAF, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City - The Ayala Corporation launched its 2nd Health and Wellness Caravan to the Special Action Force. The caravan is one of the core projects of Ayala’s “Saludo sa Serbisyo Program” in grateful recognition to the efforts and sacrifices made by the uniformed force for the country.

SAF personnel were able to avail the different health services of the caravan such as free medical consultation, eye check-up, blood sugar testing, massage therapy and free medicines. Topics on “What you Need to Know about COVID-19”, “Why you need to see a physician and why you should not be embarrassed about it?” and “Branded versus Generic Medicines” were also discussed by the experts.

Present during the opening ceremony were PMGEN AMANDO CLIFTON B EMPISO, Director, SAF; MR. PAOLO F. BORROMEO, President and CEO, Ayala Health Care Holdings, Inc.; MR. JOHN PHILIP S. ORBETA, President and CEO of AC Synergy and Executive Sponsor of the program; AMB. MARCIANO A. PAYNOR, JR., Managing Director of Ayala Corporation and Program Director of Saludo sa Serbisyo Program; SAF personnel, and other volunteers from the Ayala Group of Companies.

In his message, Mr. Borromeo shared how they came up with the program and stressed their continued commitment to support the uniformed service which he believes is one of the best contributors in the success of the nation.

Meanwhile, PMGEN EMPISO expressed his gratitude to the Ayala Corporation for their continuous support and encouraged all SAF personnel to invest on their health in line with the Chief PNP’s focus directive so that they can better serve the public.

Before the ceremony ended, PMGEN EMPISO and members of SAF Command Group received the FamilyDOC UnliKonsulta Cards and Generika Drugstore Gift Certificates in behalf of SAF from the Ayala Health Care Holdings, Inc.

 

There will be another round of caravan for SAF personnel and their dependents on May 2020 to form part of the 37th SAF Founding Anniversary.
